We are seeking a seasoned Advocate with a minimum of 7 years of core litigation experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s interests across various judicial and quasi-judicial forums. This role requires a deep understanding of RERA, land laws, and civil procedures, combined with the ability to manage a high-volume case portfolio and represent the company effectively in court.

Requirements

  • LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in litigation, preferably within the Real Estate sector or a reputed Law Firm.
  • Valid Sanad (Enrollment with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa).
  • Extensive knowledge of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA).
  • Proficiency in Civil Procedure Code (CPC), Transfer of Property Act, and Maharashtra Land Revenue Code.
  • Proven track record of appearing before the High Court, District Courts, and Consumer Forums.
  • Strong command over written and spoken English and Marathi.
  • Excellent drafting skills for petitions, appeals, and legal notices.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company and appear before various Courts, Tribunals, and Authorities (RERA, NCLT, Consumer Forums).
  • Draft and vet Plaints, Written Statements, Affidavits, Writ Petitions, and Appeals.
  • Manage the end-to-end litigation lifecycle, from filing to final disposal and execution.
  • Coordinate with external senior counsels and law firms for briefed matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research on land titles, property disputes, and recent judicial precedents.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to the management on potential risks and dispute resolution.
  • Ensure timely compliance with all court orders and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive digital and physical database of all ongoing and past litigations.
  • Monitor daily causelists and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the process of responding to legal notices and consumer complaints.
