Legal Intern

This internship is designed for law students seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced litigation environment. The role primarily focuses on criminal law, offering exposure to both trial and appellate practices. Interns will work closely with the team on active cases, gaining practical insights into the Indian criminal justice system.

Requirements

  • To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Academic Standing: * 3rd year or above (5-year LL.B. course)
  • 2nd year or above (3-year LL.B. course)
  • Interest: A strong, demonstrable interest in criminal litigation.
  • Skills: * Proficient legal research and drafting abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks (initiative).

Responsibilities

  • Interns will be expected to assist with the following:
  • Research & Drafting: Preparing bail applications, petitions, case briefs, and legal memos.
  • Court Assistance: Attending and assisting in court proceedings.
  • Case Management: Handling case files and documentation.
  • Practice Exposure: Observing and participating in trial and appellate court work.
