Legal drafting practice

The programme is built on a simulation-based model where participants take on the role of I interns working at Vidhinya associates. Through carefully designed case scenarios, participants are exposed to situations that reflect actual legal work handled within a law firm. Each task is structured to test practical legal skills such as drafting, legal analysis, procedural understanding, client handling, and strategic thinking. The focus of the programme is to enable participants to apply legal knowledge in realistic contexts rather than relying solely on theoretical understanding.

This Programme is conducted entirely through the LMS portal of The Collective Counsel, ensuring a structured, seamless, and interactive learning experience for all participants. Upon registration, participants will gain access to the internship on the LMS platform. The programme is designed in a task-based format, where each participant progresses through a series of structured tasks. The internship begins with an introductory segment that familiarizes participants with the programme, the LMS interface, and their role as interns working at Vidhinyas Associates. Following this, participants will engage with multiple tasks. Each task is based on a real-life inspired legal scenario and is designed to simulate the kind of work assigned within a law firm. Participants are required to carefully read the case background, understand the facts, and respond to the questions provided. The tasks are presented in a quiz-based format on the LMS, allowing participants to submit their responses directly through the platform. Each task evaluates different aspects of legal practice, including analysis, reasoning, and application of legal principles. The programme is self-paced, allowing participants to complete the tasks at their convenience while maintaining a professional and disciplined approach. Upon successful completion of all tasks, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion by The Collective Counsel. The certificate will be endorsed by Vidhinyas Associates, adding professional credibility and recognition to the participant’s achievement. This structured approach ensures that participants not only complete the internship but also gain meaningful, practical exposure to real-world legal work in a simulated environment.
