ABOUT THE EDUCATOR

Ms. G. Vijaya Sudha is an educator in Legal Studies with over three decades of teaching experience in reputed law colleges. She is deeply committed to shaping ethically grounded and socially responsible legal professionals. For nearly fifteen years, she has taught Environmental Jurisprudence, a subject that closely aligns with her admiration for Indian culture and its intrinsic respect for nature, harmony, and sustainable living.

Her academic and research interests are strongly oriented toward the future of Indian children, particularly their fundamental right to family life. She is actively engaged in research that explores how legal frameworks can better safeguard this right and contribute to the holistic development of future generations.

Ms. Vijaya Sudha has also taught Interpretation of Statutes for more than eight years. During this period, she observed that personality traits, biases, and individual perceptions often influence the interpretation of laws. She believes that these human factors significantly affect the justice delivery system and therefore deserve serious academic attention and reform-oriented discourse.

She strongly believes in Dharma as a guiding principle for both life and law. She holds deep respect for the exalted status of women as envisioned in the Vedas, where womanhood is portrayed with the highest dignity and reverence. She is concerned that the present generation faces numerous artificial and misleading challenges that divert them from meaningful growth and progress. She firmly believes that academicians bear a profound responsibility to guide, protect, and nurture the nation’s future through value-based education and conscious mentorship.
